ROAD TRANSFER TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Pricing & Routes
Quotations are based on the shortest practical route. Any deviation or additional kilometers traveled will be charged at an additional rate per kilometer, at the prevailing rate set by the provider.
Quotations are valid for 2 weeks and are subject to statutory and fuel price adjustments.
Booking & Payment
A 30% deposit is required to confirm a booking. This deposit is non-refundable for cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled transfer.
The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days prior to departure.
For bookings made less than 30 days before departure, full payment is required upon confirmation.
Cancellations & Refunds
For cancellations made within 30 days of departure, the 30% deposit is non-refundable. If full payment has been made, a 30% cancellation fee of the quoted price will apply.
If full payment has been made and confirmed with the provider, refunds will be subject to the provider’s cancellation policy.
An additional 10% admin fee will apply to all cancellations processed by Safari Transfers.
Vehicle & Service Availability
Vehicle availability is subject to confirmation upon acceptance of the quotation.
Final confirmation will be provided within 5 business days. If the requested service cannot be confirmed, Safari Transfers will offer an alternative or issue a full refund.
Insurance & Liability
Passenger transportation is exempt from VAT, where applicable.
Passenger Liability Insurance of R50,000,000.00 per incident is included for all transfers arranged through Safari Transfers.
Safari Transfers is not responsible for unforeseen delays due to traffic, weather, or mechanical issues.
Safari Transfers is not liable for injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings during transport.
Clients are encouraged to obtain their own travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances beyond Safari Transfers’ control.
Additional Costs
Entrance fees, parking fees, and porterage are not included in the quotation and must be paid by the client.
Conduct & Restrictions
Smoking, vaping, and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited in the vehicle.
The driver reserves the right to refuse service or discontinue transport if passengers exhibit disruptive or unsafe behavior.
Disputes & Governing Law
Any disputes regarding charges must be reported within 7 days of invoice issuance.
The client and Safari Transfers agree to attempt mediation through a mutually agreed mediator before pursuing legal action.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.
By accepting the quotation and proceeding with payment, the client agrees to these terms and conditions.
HELICOPTER TRANSFER TERMS & CONDITIONS
Helicopter Transfer Terms & Conditions
Pricing & Availability
All flights are subject to availability and can only be confirmed once full payment is received.
Rates are influenced by the oil price and ZAR/US$ exchange rate and are subject to change without prior notice.
Prices are expected to change towards April 2026.
All quotations are estimates and will be updated 4 months prior to the flight date. Quote confirmations can only happen within 4 months of the scheduled flight.
Booking & Payment
Quotations are provided as estimates only. A booking can only be confirmed once the helicopter transfer is invoiced, which occurs within 4 months of the scheduled flight
Full payment is required at the time of invoicing to confirm the helicopter transfer.
For bookings made less than 30 days before departure, full payment is required upon confirmation.
Cancellations & Refunds
If full payment has been made and confirmed with the provider, refunds will be subject to the provider’s cancellation policy.
An additional 10% admin fee will apply to all cancellations processed by Safari Transfers.
Flight & Service Availability
Flight availability is subject to confirmation upon acceptance of the quotation.
Flight schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions, air traffic control restrictions, or operational requirements.
Weight limitations apply, and passengers must provide accurate weight details at the time of booking. Additional costs may be incurred if weight restrictions necessitate changes to the flight plan.
Insurance & Liability
Passenger Liability Insurance is included for all helicopter transfers arranged through Safari Transfers
Safari Transfers is not responsible for unforeseen delays due to weather, air traffic control, or mechanical issues.
Safari Transfers is not liable for injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings during transport.
Clients are encouraged to obtain their own travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances beyond Safari Transfers’ control.
All commercial helicopters include liability cover but the amounts are confidential. If they have a certain minimum amount requirement we can take out additional cover at an additional cost to the client.
Additional Costs
Landing fees, overnight costs, and any additional charges imposed by landing sites are not included in the quotation and must be paid by the client.
Conduct & Restrictions
Smoking, vaping, and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited on the aircraft.
The pilot reserves the right to refuse service or discontinue the flight if passengers exhibit disruptive or unsafe behavior.
Any luggage restrictions provided at the time of booking must be adhered to. Exceeding baggage limits may result in additional charges or the refusal of excess baggage.
Disputes & Governing Law

The client and Safari Transfers agree to attempt mediation through a mutually agreed mediator before pursuing legal action.
