Welcome to Safari Transfers ("Safari Transfers", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of www.safaritransfers.com, as well as all quotations, bookings, payments and services provided by Safari Transfers and Charter Services.

By accessing our website, requesting a quotation, making a booking, or paying for any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

1. Our Services

Safari Transfers provides a range of travel services, including but not limited to:

  • Private Road Transfers

  • Air Shuttle Services

  • Private Charter Flights

  • Custom Safari Tours

  • Travel coordination and related services

Certain services are arranged through carefully selected third-party transport operators, charter companies and service providers.

2. Quotations

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Road transfer quotations are valid for 14 days.

  • Private charter quotations are valid for 7 days.

All quotations remain subject to:

  • Availability

  • Fuel price adjustments

  • Exchange rate fluctuations

  • Airport and regulatory charges

  • Government taxes

  • Supplier price changes

Acceptance of a quotation does not guarantee availability until confirmed by Safari Transfers.

3. Bookings & Payments

Road Transfers

  • A 30% deposit is required to confirm a booking.

  • The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before departure.

  • Bookings made within 30 days of departure require full payment upon confirmation.

Private Charter Flights

  • A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure aircraft availability.

  • Full payment is required for bookings made within six months of departure.

  • Outstanding balances must be received no later than 7 days before departure.

  • Credit card payments may be subject to applicable processing fees.

Bookings are only confirmed once payment has been received and written confirmation has been issued.

4. Availability

All services remain subject to vehicle, aircraft, crew and operational availability.

If the requested service cannot be confirmed, Safari Transfers may:

  • offer a suitable alternative; or

  • provide a refund where no reasonable alternative is available.

5. Road Transfer Conditions

Road transfer quotations are based on the shortest practical route.

Additional kilometres requested by the client may incur additional charges.

Unless specifically stated, quotations exclude:

  • Entrance fees

  • Parking fees

  • Porterage

  • Other third-party charges

Smoking, vaping and alcohol consumption are prohibited in transfer vehicles.

Drivers reserve the right to refuse or terminate a journey where passenger behaviour compromises safety or violates applicable laws.

6. Air Shuttle & Private Charter Conditions

Aircraft availability is subject to:

  • Aircraft serviceability

  • Airport slot availability

  • Regulatory approvals

  • Weather conditions

  • Operational requirements

Passenger baggage allowances are determined by the aircraft operator. Unless otherwise advised, baggage is generally limited to 15 kg per passenger.

Satellite communications, onboard internet and additional passenger-requested services are not included unless specifically quoted.

Additional operational costs arising from passenger-requested itinerary changes, delays or regulatory requirements may be charged to the client.

Smoking is prohibited on all charter aircraft.

7. Delays & Force Majeure

Safari Transfers is not responsible for delays or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Traffic congestion

  • Weather conditions

  • Mechanical failures

  • Air traffic control restrictions

  • Government regulations

  • Airport closures

  • Natural disasters

  • Civil unrest

  • Strikes

  • Other force majeure events

Where reasonably possible, we will assist clients in arranging suitable alternative travel arrangements.

8. Insurance

Passenger liability insurance is included where provided by the relevant transport operator.

Safari Transfers strongly recommends that all travellers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering:

  • Trip cancellations

  • Medical emergencies

  • Lost or delayed baggage

  • Missed connections

  • Other unforeseen travel disruptions

9. Passenger Responsibilities

Passengers are responsible for ensuring they possess all required:

  • Passports

  • Visas

  • Vaccination certificates

  • Customs documentation

  • Travel permits

  • Health documentation

Passengers must comply with all applicable laws and safety instructions issued by Safari Transfers, transport operators and aviation authorities.

10. Liability

Safari Transfers acts as both a transport provider and a travel coordinator, depending on the service booked.

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Safari Transfers shall not be liable for:

  • Delays beyond our reasonable control

  • Missed flights or travel connections

  • Weather-related disruptions

  • Operator cancellations

  • Loss, theft or damage to personal belongings

  • Indirect, incidental or consequential losses

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

11. Website Use

The content of this website is provided for general information only.

While we make every reasonable effort to ensure the accuracy of the information published, Safari Transfers does not warrant that all website content is complete, accurate or current at all times.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the website or our services without prior notice.

12. Intellectual Property

Safari Transfers reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.

The most current version will always be published on this website together with the effective date.

Continued use of the website or our services after any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
